The transportation industry is changing at a record pace, and Oregon is leading the way, with more charging stations per capita than anywhere in the US and dozens of companies in the industry. In fact, a recent study http://driveoregon.org/resources/ estimated that the electric vehicle industry is already worth $266.56 million per year in Oregon.
This emerging industry is creating opportunities for a wide range of businesses and technologies, from companies producing complete vehicles to software, embedded systems, cables and wiring, energy storage and recovery, and more. Jeff Allen, Executive Director of Drive Oregon, will speak about industry innovations and trends.
